For this project, a comprehensive parking guidance system based on sensor technology was chosen. Sensors have been installed in the car park to detect whether each space is occupied or free. This data is transmitted directly to the central system.
Displays have been installed at the entrance and at strategic points throughout the car park, showing the number of available spaces per zone. This automatically guides visitors to the correct space, without them having to drive around unnecessarily.
The combination of clear signage and real-time data ensures more efficient use of the available parking space. This reduces traffic congestion and enhances user convenience for both visitors and car park operators.
In addition, the system provides insight into occupancy rates and usage patterns. This data can be used to further optimise parking policy and better inform future adjustments.
The result is a well-organised and efficient parking facility in which technology directly contributes to comfort and traffic flow.
